July 21, 2011** Free Movie Magic Update Available for Mac OS X Lion Users **
On July 20, 2011, Apple released Mac OS X Lion (10.7). We have now released an update to Movie Magic Budgeting (MMB) and Movie Magic Scheduling (MMS) that is compatible with the new Mac OS.
To ensure a smooth transition, please deactivate your Movie Magic license(s) before upgrading to Mac OS X Lion (10.7). Once the new OS is installed, you will need to download the new installer from our website:Movie Magic SchedulingMovie Magic Budgeting
After you download and install the new update, you can reactivate your license. Leaving your Movie Magic license active while upgrading to the new OS will cause the Movie Magic license to work improperly and you will not be able to use the software.
This update allows us to move our programs to Java 1.6, making MMS 5 and MMB 7 compatible with OS 10.6 and above.
A video walkthrough of the above steps is available on our BroadcastEP YouTube Channel.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have on our Facebook discussion board or by emailing our Movie Magic product team and we will answer them to the best of our ability.
